Common Needs

Thank you for visiting our current ongoing needs list. This is a list of needs that the Ranch has consistently. For more specific or time-sensitive needs, please read our newsletter page or the home page.

  • Canned vegetables, canned fruit, canned tuna, canned chicken, non-perishable condiments, peanut butter, syrup, honey, rice, dry baking goods, dry beans, dry noodles, maseca.

  • Bar soap, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toilet paper, general first-aid supplies, razors.

  • Ear buds, 3-hole puncher, standing fans, art supplies, antiseptic wipes, USB 32 GB thumb drives, iPads.

  • 50-foot garden hose, wheelbarrows, crescent wrenches, .095 trimmer line, paint brushes, paint rollers, DeWalt impact drivers, hammers, tape measures, levels, 3/8in tarp, manual staple gun.

    • Dress and tennis shoes all kids and youth sizes.

    • Blue jeans and pleated pants size 10-16.

    • Socks all sizes.

    • Underwear (both sexes), bras, training bras, all sizes.

Priority Need

Back in 2017, a Ford Flex was donated from the Potthoffs of Phoenix, AZ while the car has served its purpose, its time to put her to rest. We need a small type of SUV to replace the Flex for the San Diego office. In the past, the Flex has been a great asset to Norma who uses it to run errands, pick up locally donated items, runs to the airport and whatever else a vehicle is needed for te ministry on the US side of the border. Please contact the our office if you are interested in helping in this way. Thank you.

Please Note: Our Amazon Needs List is a guide and lists products that are commonly used by children and staff at the Ranch. Please email ranchosantamarta1@outlook.com with a copy of your receipt and the shipping arrival date to receive your donation receipt/thank you.

Other Ways To Give

Layers of Giving

Layer 1

First layer of giving is straight donations sent by check made out to Bethesda Teaching Ministry or Rancho Santa Marta.

You can also use our online giving account by selecting Donate from the menu bar at the top of the screen (computer) or the 2 horizontal lines on the top righthand of your screen (mobile). Additionally, you can give via Venmo or Paypal below.

Layer 2

Another way of giving is thru purchasing items from RSM Amazon Needs list and sending them to our office.

These online gifts are received at our office and are taken down to Rancho Santa Marta via Rod & Tina, Bill & Kaye or whomever is driving down to the ranch.

Layer 3

Layer three is when you select charities to give thru your payroll giving; organizations like Benevity, Salesforce, eMi, etc. will send money to us that people give as charitable donations from their paychecks.

If you are interested in this way of giving, contact your payroll representative and ask if this is available to you thru your employer.

Layer 4

The final layer of giving we see frequently is thru stocks, cash management/brokerage accounts, IRA accounts, wills, trusts and foundations.

These require specialized receipts, so please call or email the office and we can help you.

We are a 501(c)3 charity. We are listed with organizations like Charity Navigator and Guidestar along with many others.
